ALL IN THE FAMILY

Our family-run wedding venue was born out of a passion for celebrating marriage.

It all started with one special day—our daughter's wedding in May of 2016.

When our daughter planned her wedding, we realized just how much work and organizing it took. We had to take care of everything from set up to clean up, all in one day. It was hard work but we all had key roles in making the dream come true. It was through that experience that a new dream was sparked- to create a nature-inspired venue that was STRESS FREE. Through using each of our strengths, we could create a space for other couples and families to relax and enjoy the wedding process and the wedding day.

It was in 2017 when we bought this property and started to develop it into Pine and Pond Wedding Venue. We were blown away by the support and the interest we had, even before we had the tent set up. We opened as of August 2018 and hosted 10 weddings by the middle of October! We have now hosted over 400+ weddings and continue to feel blessed by all those who support our family dream!

We understand firsthand the importance every little detail has in making a wedding day truly magical. From stunning landscapes, beautiful indoor spaces, and a seamless planning process- we've poured our hearts into creating a venue that reflects nature, feels like home, and encourages the celebration of marriage.

MEET THE TEAM

Family-Owned & Operated Since 2017

Hi, I’m Karleen!

I run the day-to-day operations of Pine and Pond. I’m also a wife and mom to two wonderful little kiddos. I got married 8 years ago and absolutely loved planning my wedding. I’m a big DIYer—I love crafting, decorating, and making things look beautiful. That said, I know planning a wedding can feel overwhelming, especially when you already have so much going on.

When I envisioned this venue, I wanted it to be a place surrounded by nature, where couples could have everything they need to make their day simple and stress-free—surrounded by their loved ones.

Before Pine and Pond, I worked in various administrative roles, so running this venue feels like the perfect fit. I’m able to blend my administrative skills with my passion for creativity and crafting, all while serving others. Plus, I get to do it alongside my husband and kids—what a blessing that is.

Thank you for being a part of this journey! We couldn’t do it without the support of our amazing couples, who believe in what we do and the experience we offer. I truly hope we can make you feel at home as we share a piece of our home with you.

Hi, I’m Paul!

I’m often known for my diverse interests and love of variety. Whether it’s climbing, overlanding, skateboarding, snowboarding, golfing, or building (lego and beyond!) - I'm down for pretty much anything.

Professionally, I’ve spent most of my life in the trades, but one of the things I’ve enjoyed most about working at Pine and Pond is the range of work I get to do. I’ve had the opportunity to be involved in nearly every aspect of Pine and Pond’s development, from crafting the tables to building the buildings. Now, I’m focused on growing and maintaining the property, capturing footage and behind the scenes, managing our amazing team of summer staff, and lending a hand wherever I am needed. No week is quite the same, and I love that!

Hi, I’m Keith!

I’m the CEO of Pine and Pond, husband, father, and—my favorite—a grandpa. I’m passionate about coffee, tennis, hockey, and of course, spending time with my grandkids.

At Pine and Pond, I focus on the long-term vision and how we can better serve our wonderful couples. It’s been such a joy to watch my daughter develop her business leadership skills, and I’m always looking for ways to share my 25+ years of life and leadership experience to help Pine and Pond continue to thrive.

I also love connecting with prospective couples, giving them a tour of the venue, and sharing the heart behind everything we do. If you come for your first tour, there’s a good chance you’ll meet me!

Hi, I’m Heather!

I’m co-owner of the business and Keith’s wife of 35 years. While I work from home as an M.S. nurse, I also play a big role in the business. I manage product orders, maintain the plants and ponds, and I’m always ready to roll up my sleeves to paint or decorate when the need arises.

One of my passions is capturing memories and writing down stories, so I make it a point to reflect on the many memories we’ve created through this business. It’s a beautiful reminder of how far we’ve come and the amazing couples we’ve been able to celebrate with along the way. This business has truly been a blessing for our family, and we hope it can serve as a way to bless others—helping them create their own memories and stories as a married couple, starting right here at Pine and Pond.
